Moving into our new buildings and facilities will bring new opportunities, new challenges. As a church family we want to say a huge and warm welcome to any and all that come to us. Our new building should help us to do this well.

A new entry will allow midweek access to the Reception from the Queen Square redevelopment. Our reception will make use of the beauty of the Small Chapel incorporating original woodwork and enabling a bright working environment.

A beautiful refurbished main entrance area will draw the eye to the main floor of St Andrew Hall. It will create a natural flow from a light and airy vestibule with a new staircase.

The pews will be retained in the balcony, but removed on the main floor to permit versatile use of space and easy access for all. A new elevator will allow access for those with disability to all levels (a platform lift will extend access to the ‘Truth loft’).

We also have incorporated two disabled access facilities including a wetroom in the refurbishment.

General improvements to décor and lighting throughout will bring the whole building to life again and restore the corridors and rooms to spaces that are truly warm and elegant.

All of these changes should help our building to tell the story of God’s glory and goodness to us.
