Francis Schaeffer (1912–1984) was an American pastor, theologian, and writer whose work deeply influenced evangelical and Reformed Christians in the 20th century. He is best known as the founder of L’Abri Fellowship in Switzerland and for his clear engagement with culture from a biblical perspective. Schaeffer also established the International Presbyterian Church (IPC), the denomination to which our congregation belongs. Through his teaching and writing, he helped many believers think through the implications of their faith in a changing world. His vision for a church rooted in Scripture and active in society continues to shape our congregational life and mission today.
